Louise joined Toronto General & Western Hospital Foundation in November 2007. She has been fundraising in Canada for more than 25 years. As Senior Vice President and Chief Development Officer of Toronto General & Western Hospital Foundation, she oversees all fundraising portfolios with an annual goal of more than $100M. During her tenure, the foundation has raised more than $1 Billion. A seasoned presenter, she has led Masterclasses and workshops at the International Fundraising Congress in the Netherlands, APF in Baltimore and Toronto, and, consulted with hospitals in Belgium and Ireland. She recently attended a nine month program at Harvard University on Exponential Fundraising.
Other organizations Louise has worked with include The Banff Centre (Banff, Alberta), the Ontario Science Centre and the Sunnybrook Foundation. At the Ontario Science Centre, Louise successfully completed a $40 million campaign and at Sunnybrook, as Managing Director, Campaigns, Louise led the Major and Planned Gifts team towards their $300 million Campaign Goal. She has also served on the Boards of the Toronto Public Library and Mural Routes.

Jason Helgerson is an entrepreneur, investor, consultant and social change agent. After more than 20 years of public service he has embraced the “gig economy” and launched a multifaceted private sector career. Helgerson Solutions Group LLC (HSG) is focused on helping companies, providers, payers and governments make the move to value in health care. Jason also advises Private Equity firms and Venture Capital funds that share his commitment to value-based health care. Jason also works around the world as a Senior Advisor to a global management consulting firm.
Before his move to the private sector, Jason was a nationally recognized leader in public sector health care. Most recently he was New York’s Medicaid Director, a role he held for over seven years. New York’s Medicaid program provides vital health care services to over 6.6 million New Yorkers and has an annual budget in excess of $68 billion. Jason also served as the Executive Director for New York’s Medicaid Redesign Team, nationally recognized as a 2015 Innovation in American Government Finalist by the Harvard Kennedy School of Government. In this capacity he directed Governor Cuomo’s effort to fundamentally reshape the state’s Medicaid program in order to both lower costs and improve health care quality. In 2015, Jason was also recognized as a Public Official of the Year by Governing Magazine.

Allison has been part of the Geisinger family for 12 years, and is responsible for the oversight and implementation of health and wellness programs for Geisinger patients and insured members, employees and community based programming.
Ms. Hess earned her bachelor of science in Health Education with a concentration in Psychology from Bloomsburg University. She is currently pursuing her MBA and has been recognized for her leadership and employee engagement efforts within the organization.
Ms. Hess has 20 years of experience in the health and wellness field. Her most recent work involves community based strategies impacting food insecurity and other social determinants of health. She is deeply committed to the health and wellbeing our patients, members and communities.
Greater Manchester Health & Social Care Partnership
Jon Rouse was appointed as Chief Officer for the Greater Manchester Health and Social Care Partnership, in July 2016, to co-ordinate the delivery of Greater Manchester’s strategy for the transformation of health and care services, ‘Taking Charge Together’, as part of the wider devolution plans for public service reform.
Previously, Jon was Director General for Social Care, Local Government and Care Partnerships at the Department of Health. Other previous roles include:

o Chief Executive, Housing Corporation
o Chief Executive, Commission for Architecture and the Built Environment
He has also held a wide range of non-executive positions with organisations including English Partnerships and Homelessness International, and was a non-executive director on the Department of Health’s board until 2010. He was previously chair of the Society of Metropolitan Chief Executives.
Jon has a first degree in law, Masters in business administration and urban policy and an honorary doctorate in urban design. Jon is also an honorary life member of the Royal Institute of British Architects and the Royal Town Planning Institute. He has recently completed the Major Projects Leadership Academy at the University of Oxford.

A graduate of the Royal Free Hospital School of Medicine, University of London, he is a pioneering creator in the evolution of healthcare technology. After several years as a medical practitioner in London and Australia, he joined an international who’s who in healthcare, academia and business, in the development of the first electronic health record in the early 1990’s and later, as a business leader in one of the first speech recognition companies. His rare combination of patience, creativity, skill and intrinsic business ethics has led him to a diverse career in healthcare with some of the most prestigious hospitals, consulting firms, and technology companies.
Dr Nick focuses on small incremental improvements we can learn from other industries that can be applied in healthcare to bring immediate value but that also add up to the big leap in we need and are all looking for – evolution not revolution.
Dr Nick is a global native, who developed an extended world view from an early age and offers cultural intelligence and the capacity to function effectively across national, ethnic, and organisational philosophies. With an easy-going nature and the ability to talk in terms people can understand, that is supported by a depth and breadth of knowledge and the experience and intensity to match.
